Job description:
To plan, create and code web pages, using both non-technical and technical skills to produce websites that fit the customer's requirements. Knowledge in the technical and graphical aspects of pages, producing not just the look of the website but determining how it works as well. You might also be responsible for the maintenance of an existing site.
Typical work activities
Cover all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with clients and assessing their needs. The duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:
Strong knowledge of web development, using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, ASP.Net, C#, and MYSQL preferred.
Design and creation of relational database schemas.
Writing and editing content
Designing webpage layout
Determining technical requirements
Updating websites
Creating back up files
Drawing up detailed website specifications
Designing sample page layouts including text size and colors
Designing graphics, animations and manipulating digital photographs
Registering web domain names and organizing the hosting of the website
Presenting initial design ideas to client
Designing the website's visual imagery and ensuring it is in line with company branding policy or the requirements of the client
Proofreading content and grammar and making changes where necessary
Testing the website to ensure it is working
Researching current design trends;
Continual professional development to keep up to date with new software developments.
Qualification:
In addition to the above requirements, a Web Developer, would also require:
B.S. in Computer or Information Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Conditions:
Trainee Period: 3 to 6 Month. Training will be converted to permanent employment based on performance.
Salary: 15000PKR to 30000PKR (based on candidate profile)
