What you will be doing
Capore Inc. is seeking a Web Application Developer. The Web Application Developer designs, builds, tests, and deploys web applications using modern web and application languages.
The candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
OR
5+ years equivalent experience in Web application development utilizing Java, Python, C#, Ruby, 4D, PHP, HTML, JavaScript/jQuery, JSON, Ajax, or CSS
Must have a working knowledge of developing custom web-based solutions; software development experience including website design and development; basic relational database design and development experience. The Web Application Developer must have experience writing web-based software that integrates with a database such as DynamoDB, 4D, PostgreSQL, mySQL, MS SQL, or Oracle. The candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and developers. The Web Application Developer must maintain the skill set required to do the job and maintain awareness of trends within the technology industry. The candidate must be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic.
Description of Responsibilities:
· Design, code, document and test new web software applications
· Maintain and enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and identifying areas for modification and improvement
· Working knowledge of object oriented programming concepts
· Utilize established development tools, guidelines and conventions including but not limited to Java, PHP, Python, XML, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#
· Utilize frameworks MEAN, EXPRESS, ANGULARJS with MONGODB
· Investigate and develop skills in new technologies
· Work with customer to identify new software development needs
· Deploy and maintain product code on Amazon EC2
Desired Skills and Experience
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the Web Application Developer:
· BS in Comp Science/Information Systems/or related Degree OR 5 years of experience in software development
· Amazon VPC and EC2 deployments and architecture
· Database schema design
· Experience with the following programs/languages:
· Java
· Python
· C#
· JavaScript/JQuery
· Ajax
· JSON
· HTML, HTML5
· CSS
. MEAN, EXPRESS, ANGULARJS
· No SQL DynamoDB, MONGODB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, mySQL, 4D, or Oracle
· Experience working with source code control tool like GIT, Mercurial or SVN
· Proficient in writing automated scripts using Selenium or JUnit
