Oracle Database Developer

We are seeking a talented Oracle Database Developer with a strong background in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Reports to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience working with Oracle databases and development tools. As an Oracle Database Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to support our business needs. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design efficient database schemas, write complex SQL queries, develop stored procedures, triggers, and functions using PL/SQL, and create user-friendly interfaces using Oracle Forms and Reports.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for database solutions.
Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, and indexes to support application requirements.
Write efficient SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and analysis.
Develop and optimize stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages using PL/SQL.
Design and develop user interfaces using Oracle Forms for data entry, validation, and reporting.
Generate custom reports and ad-hoc queries using Oracle Reports.
Perform performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and PL/SQL code.
Ensure data integrity, security, and availability of databases.
Conduct unit testing and participate in system integration testing and user acceptance testing.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for database-related issues.
Document technical designs, specifications, and procedures.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Database Developer.
Proficiency in SQL programming and database concepts.
Strong knowledge of PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, triggers, functions, and packages.
Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports development tools.
Understanding of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Familiarity with database design principles and normalization.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Oracle certification(s) is a plus.
