As a Senior MERN Stack Engineer at Vantadev, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions using the MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications that meet our clients' needs. You will also mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to architectural decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain web applications using the MERN stack.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Implement responsive user interfaces using React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs.
- Write unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability of the applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in web development.
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in web development using the MERN stack.
- Proficiency in Typescript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and related web technologies.
- Experience with React.js and Redux for building applications.
- Strong understanding of Node.js and Express.js.
- Experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Certification in relevant technologies is a plus.
- Ability to work in an Agile development environment, adapting to changing requirements and collaborating with diverse teams.
