The Manager Taxation will play a pivotal role in overseeing tax management framework. Incumbent will be entrusted with ensuring compliance with tax regulations while strategically navigating opportunities for tax planning and filling. By assuming responsibility for our tax affairs, this role contributes directly to the financial health and regulatory integrity of our ParkView City, Lahore.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure timely compliance and reporting of both direct and indirect taxes, including filing of returns on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Handle notices from federal/provincial tax authorities efficiently and effectively.
- Resolve group taxation issues and file exemption and refund applications promptly.
- Provide strategic tax planning advice to management, identifying areas for tax savings and optimization.
- Offer expert opinions on the direct and indirect tax implications of new investment projects, contracts, and inter-provincial and international payments by the group companies.
Qualification & Experience:
- CA (Finalist), ACCA, ACMA, MBA in Finance & Taxation.
- Must have comprehensive knowledge of Income Tax, Sales Tax, PRA and FBR regulations.
- Field experience of 10-15 years in handling tax matters.
- Proficient in handling direct and indirect taxation, tax compliance, advisory, and litigations independently.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to provide strategic insights to support business objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with tax authorities and internal stakeholders effectively.
