Programmer will be working on following project:
We have to develop for an online video gaming tournament system, and an integrated system behind the scenes that allows the scheduling of a gaming match with various video games (such as America's Army, Call of Duty 4, Counter Strike, etc), and at the match time a game server is automatically created on a unique IP Address from a location they select (California, Illinois, Eurpoe, etc) and the system tracks the game progress online instantly, and displays the status live.
Once the match criteria is met, the server is taken off-line, screenshots are posted and a very detailed overview is posted.
The players then move up in ranking as the system is defined, while also earning virtual credits that can (if you wish) be transfered to real currency.
It will be a long term opportunity for the right and hard working candidate because after developing the system we will need the developer for maintenance and upgrades.
Base Requirements: Extensive Debian & Linux knowledge, must be comfortable with a primary development environment on either OS with a good understanding of cross platform development; familiarity with revision control systems such as GIT and SVN; strong knowledge of algorithms;
Experience about PunkBuster is a plus.
