HR will be supported by a team of 6 and be responsible for all of the core aspects of HR, with a real emphasis on the communication and engagement of the seasonal employees. Organization employ seasonal workers in large volumes so the post holder will be hiring around 200 people annually. There are already recruitment streams in place and with the hostel model organization are well-placed to attract seasonal talent into the business. HR will need to cultivate new recruitment sources and also develop the selection process to meet the needs of this highly acquisitive business.
Along with the recruitment process, the development and motivation of workers is vital to the success of this role. The HR will be fundamental in planning the learning & development of the seasonal workers, with a real focus on ensuring they are motivated.
HR will also be responsible for work force planning and therefore will need to be very analytical in nature as they will undertake the workforce planning and forecasting for workers across the organization.
