We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Town Planner to join our team. As a Town Planner, you will be responsible for participating in the development and implementation of plans and policies for the orderly growth and development of the community. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, conducting research, analyzing data, and providing recommendations to ensure sustainable and efficient land use.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with local government officials, developers, and community members to develop comprehensive land use plans.
- Conduct research on zoning regulations, environmental impact assessments, and demographic trends.
- Analyze data and prepare reports to support planning initiatives.
- Review development proposals and assess their compliance with zoning ordinances and regulations.
- Provide expert advice on land use, urban design, and transportation planning issues.
- Present findings and recommendations to government agencies, community groups, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of planning policies and recommend adjustments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and land use policies.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in GIS software and other relevant planning tools.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
