Responsibilities
- Assist in managing import or export operations to ensure timely and compliant shipment processing.
- Prepare, review, and maintain accurate import/export documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate efficient cargo movement.
- Monitor shipment status to identify and resolve delays or issues proactively.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of import/export laws, tariffs, and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate effectively with clients and vendors to provide shipment updates and resolve inquiries.
- Support the preparation of reports related to import/export activities and performance metrics.
- Maintain organized records of all shipping documents, permits, and correspondence.
- Assist in identifying process improvements to enhance operational efficiency in logistics workflows.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards throughout the import/export cycle.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to support accurate invoicing and payment processing related to imports and exports.
