PermitArch is a professional architectural visualization and drafting studio specializing in high-quality 2D and 3D architectural design, rendering, and permit drawing services for clients across the USA and Canada. We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman/Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing comprehensive Architectural, Structural, and MEP/HVAC drawing sets specifically tailored for permit approval in North American markets. This role requires a strong understanding of wood, concrete, and steel construction, as well as familiarity with relevant building codes and standards in the USA and Canada.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare complete Architectural Drawing Sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
- Develop Structural Drawing Sets for permit submission, covering foundation, framing, rebar, and connection details.
- Create MEP/HVAC Drawing Sets, encompassing layouts, schematics, and load calculations.
- Ensure all drawings comply with local building code requirements applicable to USA and Canadian regions.
- Collaborate closely with the ArchRenders architectural team to maintain accuracy and consistency across all drawing sets.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in preparing permit drawings for projects in the USA and Canada.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar drafting software.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, construction detailing, and coordination among architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet project deadlines consistently.
- Experience preparing complete permit sets for residential or commercial projects is highly desirable.
