2D & 3D Graphic Designer

TecRec, based in Lahore, Pakistan, is seeking a skilled 2D & 3D Designer to join its expanding design team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the early development of the company’s design function and work closely with experienced engineering and project teams. The position involves hands-on technical design, including creating accurate 3D models, technical drawings, and fabrication documentation. Candidates will play a key role in interpreting project requirements and delivering practical design solutions that meet technical specifications. There is significant potential for career progression, with the possibility of advancing to a Design Lead role within 6 to 12 months, depending on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering and senior management teams to understand and interpret project requirements, delivering effective design solutions.
- Develop and produce precise 2D technical drawings and 3D models aligned with project specifications.
- Translate project details and order information into practical and manufacturable design schemes.
- Create detailed drawings and 3D visualizations to facilitate design review and approval processes.
- Prepare accurate fabrication drawings, material specifications, and all necessary technical documentation for manufacturing.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant technical standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
- Work closely with engineering and project teams to address and resolve any design-related challenges.
- Identify and implement improvements in design workflows, modelling techniques, and documentation processes.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of standardized design procedures and systems.
- Promote the effective use of 3D modelling and Building Information Modelling (BIM) technologies within the team.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, consistency, and quality across all design deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in 2D drafting, 3D modelling, and technical design.
- Strong ability to develop detailed technical drawings and fabrication documentation.
- Familiarity with design standards, technical specifications, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in relevant design software and BIM technologies.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with engineering and project teams.
- A proactive approach to identifying process improvements and contributing to the development of design standards.
