Brand Republic, located in Karachi, is offering an exciting opportunity for a creative and detail-oriented 2D Animator Intern to join their animation and creative team. This full-time internship is designed for students and fresh graduates who are passionate about 2D animation, motion graphics, and digital content creation. The role provides hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment where the intern will contribute to producing engaging animations for social media, marketing campaigns, and explainer videos. The position requires working on-site during night shifts from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM at the P.E.C.H.S Block 06 office. The internship duration is three months, with a monthly stipend ranging from Rs10,000 to Rs15,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in creating 2D animations for social media platforms, digital advertisements, and explainer videos.
- Animate basic elements including text, icons, characters, and illustrations to bring concepts to life.
- Support senior animators in executing storyboards and translating creative ideas into animations.
- Work on motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects to enhance video content.
- Revise animations based on feedback to ensure high-quality output and alignment with project goals.
- Organize project files systematically and follow established internal workflows.
- Keep up-to-date with current animation trends and digital content styles to maintain relevance and creativity.
Required Qualifications
- Basic proficiency in 2D animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Adobe Animate, or equivalent tools.
- Understanding of fundamental animation principles, including timing, motion, easing, and transitions.
- Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for creating and editing visual assets.
- A creative mindset paired with strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Open to fresh graduates and entry-level candidates eager to develop their skills.
