2D Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to join our team in Bahira Town, Lahore. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in architectural and interior design projects, with strong expertise in 2D drafting, technical documentation, and construction drawings. This role requires preparing precise architectural and interior drawings, collaborating closely with design and technical teams, and ensuring all deliverables comply with project specifications, quality standards, and relevant building regulations. The position is full-time and based on-site.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed 2D architectural and interior drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and interior detailing.
- Develop submission, approval, and construction drawings in line with applicable building codes and regulations.
- Create accurate MEP layouts, focusing on electrical and plumbing drawings.
- Translate architectural concepts and design specifications into precise, practical, and technically accurate drawings.
- Assist with space planning, zoning, and layout development according to project needs.
- Ensure all drawings maintain accuracy, consistency, and compliance with established drafting standards.
- Review drawings for technical errors and coordinate necessary revisions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior draftsmen to uphold drawing quality and meet deadlines.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, interior designers, and site teams to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and updated revisions throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and interior working drawings.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, demonstrating excellent drafting speed, precision, and technical accuracy.
- Practical experience in 2D interior drafting and construction documentation.
- Solid knowledge of architectural drawings, building codes, by-laws, and submission procedures.
- Proficiency in preparing MEP drawings, particularly electrical and plumbing layouts.
- Proven ability to independently produce architectural and interior working drawings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a thorough understanding of drafting standards.
- Strong communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, incorporate feedback, and meet project deadlines.
