THE ROLE:

 

Join our finance team as an Accounts Assistant, where you'll play a key role in invoice processing, payment term management, and accounts receivable oversight. Bring your 2+ years of accounts experience, Excel proficiency, and ideally, familiarity with Xero. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented individual who thrives under pressure and values collaborative teamwork. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process invoices in Xero using Hubdoc with precision and adherence to payment terms.
  • Accurately label Pleo transactions, ensuring correct nominal codes and budget cost centers.
  • Attach receipts to all Pleo transactions, maintaining meticulous records.
  • Prepare and execute monthly batch payment runs.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Monitor trade debtors for overdue payments and actively pursue late payments, escalating aged debt issues as necessary.
  • Daily monitoring and timely response to the accounts inbox, addressing queries efficiently.
  • Handle Reporter billing queries, providing necessary backing data.

QUALIFICATION/SKILL:

  • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, demonstrating strong spreadsheet skills.
  • Ideally, have experience using Xero accounting software.
  • Hold or be actively pursuing a relevant accountancy qualification/degree or qualified by experience.
  • Exhibit highly numeric and strong analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, focused on implementing robust controls and processes.
  • Highly organized and process-driven, capable of working under pressure while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborative team player, building strong professional relationships across different teams and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey key issues related to clinical systems to individuals with clinical and non-clinical backgrounds.
  • Self-motivated, fast learner with a curious mindset and thirst for knowledge, capable of working independently and adapting to the organization's growth.
