3D DESIGNER – APPAREL

We are seeking a skilled 3D Apparel Designer to create realistic virtual garment samples and digital prototypes using advanced software such as CLO 3D or Browzwear. The ideal candidate will work closely with design and product development teams to translate buyer tech packs, sketches, and specifications into accurate and visually compelling 3D apparel designs. This role requires a strong understanding of garment construction, fabric behavior, and fitting to ensure virtual samples meet quality standards and buyer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

- Create detailed and realistic 3D apparel designs and virtual garment samples using CLO 3D, Browzwear, or similar 3D design software.
- Develop digital prototypes by interpreting buyer tech packs, design sketches, garment measurements, and specifications accurately.
- Simulate fabric textures, draping, stitching, colors, trims, and garment fitting to reflect the final product as closely as possible.
- Review garment fittings virtually and make necessary adjustments to digital patterns and designs to improve accuracy and fit.
- Prepare high-quality 3D renders and virtual sample presentations for buyers and internal teams to facilitate decision-making.
- Incorporate buyer feedback and revise designs according to approved specifications to ensure alignment with expectations.
- Collaborate effectively with pattern makers, sampling teams, merchandising, and product development departments to streamline the design-to-production process.
- Maintain organized digital design files and consistently meet sampling and development deadlines to support timely product launches.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Technology, or a related field.
- Practical experience and proficiency in CLO 3D, Browzwear VStitcher, or equivalent 3D apparel design software.
- Strong understanding of garment construction, pattern making, fabric behavior, and garment fitting principles.
- Ability to accurately interpret tech packs, measurements, and garment specifications for digital design development.
- Excellent visualization skills combined with problem-solving abilities and clear communication to collaborate across teams.
- A minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in 3D apparel design or virtual sampling is preferred.
