3D Generalist

The 3D Generalist will play a vital role in supporting the design and product development teams by creating detailed 3D models of tableware and household items. This position involves developing realistic textures and materials, setting up lighting for high-quality renders, and preparing assets for animation when necessary. The role also includes producing visual content for marketing, packaging, catalogues, social media, websites, and internal presentations. Additionally, the candidate will optimize scenes for performance, maintain organized asset libraries, and participate in review sessions to refine visuals according to feedback and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Create accurate and detailed 3D models of tableware and household products based on sketches or CAD references.
- Develop realistic textures and materials that reflect true-to-life finishes and surface details.
- Set up lighting and scene composition to produce high-quality, photorealistic renders.
- Rig and prepare assets for animation to support motion graphics, product demonstrations, and storytelling.
- Optimize 3D scenes to ensure efficient performance without compromising visual quality.
- Maintain organized asset libraries for easy retrieval and reuse across projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, marketing, and product development to ensure visuals align with brand guidelines.
- Participate in feedback sessions and make necessary adjustments to visuals to meet quality and brand standards.
- Finalize imagery for offset printing requirements, particularly for packaging layouts during post-production.

Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in 3D content creation tools, with strong experience in Blender for modeling, scene setup, and rendering.
- Demonstrated skills in texturing and lighting to create realistic materials and product visualizations.
- Experience with rigging and animation to prepare assets for motion graphics and product demonstrations.
- Solid understanding of product design workflows and the ability to translate sketches or CAD files into accurate 3D models.
- Keen attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense, with the ability to follow brand and design guidelines precisely.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work efficiently with on-site, cross-functional teams.
- Relevant education or training in 3D design, animation, industrial design, or related fields is preferred.
- A portfolio showcasing expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, lighting, and animation, ideally featuring product-focused projects.
