3D Modeler and Animator

We are seeking a talented 3D Modeler & Animator to join our team and bring our game worlds to life. This role involves creating detailed characters, props, environments, and animations, as well as optimizing assets to ensure smooth performance. If it needs to exist in 3D, you’ll be the one to make it happen. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a passion for game development, and the patience to handle iterative feedback and multiple revisions.

Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality 3D models for characters, props, and environments that align with the game’s artistic vision.
- Develop smooth and realistic animations that enhance gameplay and storytelling.
- Optimize 3D assets to maintain performance without compromising visual fidelity.
- Collaborate closely with the game design and development teams to ensure assets meet technical and creative requirements.
- Manage multiple revisions and implement feedback efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Troubleshoot and improve existing placeholder models to elevate the overall quality of the game.

Required Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in 3D modeling and animation, preferably within the gaming industry.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of topology, UV mapping, texturing, rigging, and animation principles.
- Ability to optimize models and animations for real-time game engines without sacrificing quality.
- Excellent attention to detail and a patient approach to iterative design processes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working on game projects from concept through to final release.
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine is a plus.
