- Direct and manage computing and information technology strategic plans, policies, programs and schedules for business, computer services, network communications, and management information services to accomplish corporate goals and objectives.
- Direct the information and data integrity of the company and its business units.
- Develop strategic plans and implement the objectives of the information technology needs of the company to ensure that IT capabilities are responsive to the needs of the company's growth and objectives.
- Develop, establish and evaluate operating policies and approaches for information technology and recommend enhancements.
- Advise senior management on strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of business goals and objectives.
- Review and approve major contracts for information technology services and equipment.
- Oversee ongoing improvements and the feasibility of system enhancements.
- Establish company infrastructure to support and guide individuals/teams/departments in information technology efforts.
- Establish and implement short- and long-term departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Plan the implementation of new systems and guide IT professionals and other staff within the organization
- Lead and supervise the overall functions/operations of the IT department.
- Handle annual budget and ensure cost-effectiveness for the IT department
- Manages and is responsible for all IT-related matters including Networks, Clouds, Data, Wireless Communications, Mobile technology, telephony, security, and computer hardware and software
- Manage and oversee capacity/feasibility planning, installations, upgrades, configuration, feature & functionality testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, backup systems, security procedures/protocols, operating procedures and guidelines, and user connectivity.
- Trouble-shoots and solves problems related to network problems
- Researches and recommends acquisition of network hardware and software
- Monitors network utilization and performance, implement procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availability
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions proactively.
- Negotiate with outside vendors for IT-related products and services
