Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end procurement processes including purchasing, sourcing, and order fulfillment to meet company requirements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply and favorable terms.
- Negotiate contracts, prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms to optimize cost savings and value for the company.
- Coordinate closely with inventory and relevant departments to monitor stock levels and anticipate procurement needs.
- Ensure timely procurement of materials and services to avoid disruption of production or service delivery.
- Monitor compliance with company policies, procurement standards, and legal regulations to maintain ethical and legal procurement practices.
- Prepare detailed procurement reports, cost analyses, and supplier performance evaluations to support strategic decision-making.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement activities and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to manage purchase orders and confirm accuracy of invoices and payments.
- Stay informed about market trends, price fluctuations, and industry developments that may impact procurement strategies.
