MEP Engineer

Aces Marketing & Trading is seeking an experienced MEP Engineer to join our dynamic team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site position focuses on the coordination and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within commercial and industrial building projects. As a key member of the engineering team, the MEP Engineer oversees a team of 10 professionals, ensuring that all building services operate efficiently, comply with regulations, and meet project specifications. The ideal candidate has a solid technical background in MEP engineering, with expertise in HVAC, fire protection systems, plumbing design, and power generation equipment, complemented by strong managerial skills including budget preparation and cost control. In this role, you will play an integral part in the design, operation, and maintenance of building systems to optimize energy efficiency and ensure sustainability. You are expected to work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver high-quality solutions that support the company's commitment to reliability, professionalism, and client satisfaction. Responsibilities

Lead the design, coordination, and implementation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and industrial building projects.
Manage and supervise a team of 10 engineering and technical staff, distributing tasks effectively and monitoring performance to achieve project goals.
Develop and review engineering drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
Conduct HVAC load calculations, energy efficiency analyses, and system performance evaluations to optimize operational costs and sustainability.
Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring they meet safety and regulatory compliance standards.
Prepare budgets, monitor project expenses, and implement cost control measures to maintain financial efficiency.
Maintain and troubleshoot existing building systems including HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, elevators, escalators, and power generation equipment.
Collaborate closely with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to resolve design and operational challenges.
Implement energy conservation strategies and recommend enhancements to improve system performance and reduce environmental impact.
Ensure documentation and reporting are timely, precise, and aligned with company policies and client expectations.
Stay updated on relevant industry codes, standards, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance engineering solutions.
Promote a culture of professional integrity, safety awareness, and quality improvement within the team and broader organization.
