PURCHASE MANAGER

Al-Khair Gadoon Ltd is seeking a skilled and dedicated Purchase Manager to oversee procurement operations and supplier relations. This role demands expertise in developing procurement strategies that optimize cost and efficiency, managing supplier partnerships, and ensuring the smooth availability of materials essential for production. The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years of experience in purchase or procurement within a manufacturing setting and holds a bachelor's or master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related discipline. This position involves coordinating with various departments such as Production, Stores, and Accounts to meet organizational procurement needs effectively. The Purchase Manager is responsible for monitoring market dynamics to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation, managing purchase orders and contracts, and ensuring compliance with company policies. While this role does not require managing a team, it necessitates strong leadership skills to guide procurement activities and collaborate closely across departments. Excellent negotiation abilities, problem-solving skills, and effective communication are key to succeeding in this role and contributing to Al-Khair Gadoon Ltd's operational success.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all purchasing and procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards.
Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and reliable supply.
Oversee the preparation and management of purchase orders, quotations, contracts, and procurement documentation.
Ensure timely availability of raw materials and other supplies to support uninterrupted production operations.
Monitor market trends, material prices, and supplier performance to anticipate changes and leverage opportunities.
Coordinate procurement activities with Production, Stores, Accounts, and other relevant departments for seamless operations.
Maintain and strengthen long-term relationships with key suppliers to ensure continuity and trust.
Manage procurement budgets effectively and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Resolve supplier-related issues including quality concerns, pricing disputes, and delivery delays promptly and professionally.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement processes with overall business objectives.
Conduct regular market research and price analysis to support strategic purchasing decisions.
Utilize ERP systems and MS Excel for efficient tracking, reporting, and analysis of procurement activities.
