The successful candidate will demonstrate strong supervisory skills, technical knowledge in irrigation systems, and the ability to coordinate operations effectively to optimize water use and system performance. The Irrigation Supervisor performs a vital role in ensuring the reliability and sustainability of irrigation infrastructure under their management. They monitor irrigation schedules, conduct regular system inspections, and troubleshoot any issues promptly. Compliance with safety regulations and company policies is essential, alongside maintaining accurate records of work completed, resources used, and team performance. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to communicate clearly with team members, clients, and management to facilitate timely project completion and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and supervise daily irrigation operations to ensure optimal system performance.
Lead and manage a team of 10 personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Coordinate and schedule irrigation system installation, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Monitor irrigation schedules and adjust operations based on environmental factors and water availability.
Inspect irrigation systems regularly to identify faults, leaks, or inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and local regulatory requirements on all job sites.
Maintain detailed records and reports regarding irrigation system status, team tasks, and resource usage.
Collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely delivery of services and materials.
Manage inventory of irrigation equipment and supplies to prevent shortages or downtime.
Advise on upgrades and improvements to irrigation infrastructure for enhanced efficiency and cost savings.
Address emergencies and troubleshooting issues swiftly to minimize disruption of irrigation services.
Train team members on the latest irrigation techniques, safety protocols, and system technology.
Ensure environmental sustainability by promoting water conservation and efficient irrigation practices.
