Location: Karachi, Pakistan

We are looking for an experienced and commercially oriented Senior Financial Analyst to strengthen our Finance function and support management in making informed, data-driven business decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, cash-flow management, working capital optimization, budgeting & forecasting, management reporting, and trade finance, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.


Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop real-time financial dashboards and management reports covering liquidity, receivables, inventory, and cash-flow performance.

  • Prepare and maintain rolling forecasts, budgets, and financial scenarios, incorporating market conditions, exchange-rate movements, and business requirements.

  • Analyze Cash-to-Cash cycles and provide actionable insights to Sales and Management on the financial impact of customer and deal structures.

  • Monitor and improve working capital, including inventory levels, aged receivables, and cash conversion.

  • Support the development and implementation of effective credit control and receivables recovery strategies.

  • Analyze inventory performance and support initiatives to optimize stock levels and reduce excess/slow-moving inventory.

  • Support and evaluate trade finance and alternative financing structures, including supply-chain finance, receivables-backed facilities, and back-to-back LCs.

  • Strengthen financial transparency, governance, and fiscal discipline through effective controls, reporting, and data-driven analysis.

  • Prepare Board and senior management reports with meaningful KPIs, including DSO, inventory turnover, and cash conversion cycle.

  • Partner with Sales and other business functions to assess the financial and cash-flow implications of commercial decisions.

Candidate Profile

  • Qualified/Finalist: CA / ACCA / CMA / MBA Finance / equivalent qualification.

  • 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, FP&A, corporate finance, working capital, or trade finance.

  • Strong understanding of cash-flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial/business mindset.

  • Excellent command of MS Excel and financial reporting/BI tools.

  • Experience in import, trading, machinery, industrial, or project-based businesses will be an advantage.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights to senior management.

  • Ability to work independently, challenge assumptions, and provide proactive financial advice.
