We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to oversee and manage all procurement activities for our engineering and automation projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical understanding, excellent negotiation skills, and hands-on experience in industrial procurement processes.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company objectives.
Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and subcontractors (local & international).
Prepare and issue RFQs, evaluate bids technically and commercially.
Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules to ensure cost efficiency.
Manage purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance.
Coordinate with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate records within ERP / procurement systems.
Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and mentor the procurement team for continuous improvement.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in EPC, industrial automation, or electrical contracting.
Strong understanding of technical materials — PLCs, MCCs, VFDs, instruments, electrical panels, and field devices.
Proven track record in vendor management and project-based procurement.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
