Android Developer

IT Globe is a fast-growing technology company focused on creating innovative digital products. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Android Developer to join our mobile development team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality Android applications that align with both user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications that provide a seamless user experience. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and backend developers to define, design, and implement new features. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following best practices. Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and optimization. Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them to improve development efficiency and product quality.

Required Qualifications:
A minimum of one year of hands-on experience in Android development is essential. Proficiency in Kotlin and a strong command of the Android SDK are required. Experience working with Jetpack components such as ViewModel, LiveData, and Navigation is necessary. A solid understanding of MVVM architecture and Kotlin coroutines is expected. Familiarity with REST APIs, Room Database, and Firebase is important for this role. Excellent debugging and optimization skills are a must. Candidates must have prior experience working in a product-based company environment.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
Experience with Jetpack Compose will be considered an advantage. Knowledge of dependency injection frameworks such as Hilt or Dagger is preferred. Understanding CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies will be beneficial. The position requires working full-time, Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 6 pm. The office is located in Johar Town, Lahore, and candidates who can reliably commute or are willing to relocate to this area are preferred. This is an in-person role offering a competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs80,000 to Rs100,000.
