We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to handle bookkeeping, payroll, and financial reporting in compliance with U.S. accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, QuickBooks (or similar accounting software), and U.S. payroll regulations, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Process biweekly/semi-monthly payroll using U.S. payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex, QuickBooks Payroll).

  • Ensure payroll compliance with federal, state, and local laws (FICA, FUTA, SUTA, W-2, 1099).

  • Prepare and file payroll tax reports and assist with year-end tax filings.

  • Record journal entries and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Manage invoicing, billing, and expense tracking.

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Assist with internal and external audits as required.

  • Maintain confidentiality of financial data and employee payroll information.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of U.S. bookkeeping and payroll experience preferred.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero, or similar).

    • Familiarity with payroll software (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, etc.).

    • Strong Excel and financial reporting skills.

  • Knowledge: U.S. GAAP, payroll compliance, and tax regulations.

  • Soft Skills: Attention to detail, organizational skills, analytical thinking, and confidentiality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CA, ACCA, CMA or equivalent certification (a plus).

  • Experience with multi-state payroll processing.

  • US based Outsouring prior experience
