We are looking for a skilled and innovative Artificial Intelligence Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will focus on designing, developing, and deploying AI and machine learning models that enhance the functionality, intelligence, and user experience of enterprise applications. This role demands strong technical expertise, hands-on experience in AI/ML development, and a passion for transforming data into actionable insights through intelligent systems. The candidate must be capable of managing new projects efficiently while collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement machine learning models and AI algorithms for classification, prediction, natural language processing, and optimization tasks.
- Evaluate model performance using relevant metrics, applying hyperparameter tuning and retraining as needed.
- Develop, test, and maintain software applications in line with quality standards.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to build seamless and user-friendly interfaces.
- Write reliable, testable server-side code to ensure system stability.
- Work closely with application development teams to integrate AI models across web, desktop, and mobile platforms.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance to enhance existing functionalities and improve performance.
- Design and build scalable application layers to strengthen system architecture.
- Communicate project timelines effectively with software development and implementation vendors, monitoring progress against agreed schedules.
- Escalate any issues affecting project delivery promptly to project managers, IT teams, and relevant vendors.
- Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to identify AI use cases that enhance efficiency, automation, or user experience.
- Deliver proof of concept projects and transition them into scalable solutions aligned with business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year as a data science specialist or BI/AI developer.
- Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Experience deploying AI models using frameworks like Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for data extraction and manipulation.
- Knowledge of cloud AI services such as Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, or Google AI Platform.
- Understanding of AI model lifecycle management, MLOps practices, and version control systems like Git.
- Solid grasp of AI concepts including natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn new technologies, and capable of working independently.
- Ability to work effectively in agile team environments.
Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Azure Cognitive Services, or OpenAI tools and APIs is a plus.
- This is a full-time position based in Karachi, requiring in-person attendance.
- Candidates must be domiciled in Sindh and at least 22 years old.
- The role offers a competitive starting salary beginning at Rs. 100,000 per month.
