Ashwheelz Pvt Ltd is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in financial reporting, account reconciliation, audit coordination, and risk assessment methodologies. This role requires a candidate who is a Chartered Accountant (CA) or an ACCA finalist, capable of managing complex financial data and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Although this position does not involve managing a team, it demands an individual who works collaboratively across departments to support accurate financial operations and strategic decision-making through precise financial analysis.
The Senior Accountant plays a crucial role in preparing and reviewing financial statements, facilitating audit processes, and optimizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems within the company. This position requires a high level of accuracy, analytical thinking, and an understanding of risk assessment to identify financial discrepancies and inefficiencies. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial records, assisting with month-end and year-end closes, and ensuring adherence to established accounting principles and corporate policies.
Responsibilities
- Prepare timely and accurate financial reports in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Perform detailed account reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Coordinate internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Utilize ERP systems to maintain and streamline accounting processes and data integrity.
- Conduct risk assessments related to financial activities to identify potential discrepancies or irregularities.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to provide financial insights for planning.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes by compiling entries and reviewing reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and keep updated with changes in financial regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and implement process improvements.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and adhere to ethical accounting practices.
