Based in Karachi, this role presents an exciting opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality educational books and publishing materials in both print and digital formats. Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce book layouts, cover artwork, and digital assets, while developing and standardizing illustrations across multiple titles.
- Support the management of daily design workflows, monitor project schedules, and facilitate smooth handoffs of deliverables from initial concepts to print-ready and digital formats.
- Uphold high standards in typography, vector accuracy, color fidelity, and prepress requirements throughout all published materials.
- Keep abreast of current layout techniques, evolving illustration styles, and digital creative tools to ensure the product’s visual appeal remains fresh and engaging.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, Visual Communication, or a related discipline.
- Three to five years of professional experience in design and illustration, preferably within educational publishing, editorial design, or creative media sectors.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, supported by a strong portfolio showcasing expertise in book layout, typography, and vector artwork.
- Solid knowledge of prepress workflows, print production specifications, and digital asset preparation.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple project deadlines while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
