The Poverty Graduation of Extremely Poor and Flood-Affected Households (PGEP) is a significant initiative jointly funded by the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) and the Government of Pakistan (GoP), with a total budget of US$134.2 million. This four-year project is implemented under the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety (MoPASS) across 25 of the most impoverished and flood-affected districts in Pakistan. PGEP aligns with the Government’s development priorities under Uraan Pakistan and supports the IsDB Food Response Programme and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Its primary focus is on reducing extreme poverty and economic vulnerability, promoting sustainable livelihoods and employment, and enhancing the resilience of vulnerable households against climate-induced shocks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine administrative and clerical support to the Project Management Unit (PMU).
- Maintain and organize project files, registers, records, and official correspondence to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Assist in the preparation, printing, scanning, photocopying, and dispatch of project-related documents.
- Support logistical arrangements for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and other project activities.
- Manage records of office stationery, supplies, equipment, and assets, ensuring timely replenishment and proper use.
- Facilitate the movement and delivery of official documents and correspondence within and outside the project office.
- Assist project staff with day-to-day office management and coordination tasks to ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure proper filing, record keeping, and maintain confidentiality of all official documents.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor to support project objectives.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- At least three years of relevant experience in office administration or clerical work.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with basic office equipment.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively support project activities and staff.

Additional Information:
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the selection process. No travel allowance or daily allowance (TA/DA) will be provided for interviews or related activities. The Project Management Unit reserves the right to modify the number of vacancies or cancel the recruitment process wholly or partially without prior notice or explanation.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project aimed at alleviating poverty and building resilience in some of Pakistan’s most vulnerable communities. Candidates with a commitment to administrative excellence and a proactive approach to supporting project goals are encouraged to apply.
