Auditor Manager – Cash & Carry / Supermarket

We are looking for a seasoned Auditor Manager to oversee and manage internal audit functions within our Cash & Carry and Supermarket operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in retail and FMCG auditing, focusing on inventory control, cash handling, and ensuring compliance with operational standards. This role demands a detail-oriented professional who can identify risks, recommend corrective actions, and collaborate with various departments to uphold robust internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and conduct regular internal audits across store operations, departmental activities, and back-office processes.
- Audit sales transactions, cash handling, POS activities, discounts, refunds, expenses, and daily financial reconciliations.
- Monitor inventory management including stock movement, receiving, wastage, damages, and discrepancies.
- Identify control weaknesses, irregularities, and operational risks, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
- Perform surprise inspections and physical stock verifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Review compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and internal control frameworks.
- Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, observations, and suggested corrective measures.
- Follow up on audit observations to ensure timely resolution and closure of issues.
- Collaborate effectively with Store Management, Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources teams as required.
- Lead, mentor, and supervise the internal audit team to maintain audit quality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing, or a related field.
- 3 to 5+ years of relevant auditing experience, preferably in Cash & Carry, FMCG, Retail, or Supermarket sectors.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, POS systems, cash handling procedures, stock reconciliation, and retail control mechanisms.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to produce detailed reports and communicate findings clearly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with audit and reporting software tools.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and strong problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Experience working with large-scale retail or Cash & Carry operations such as Metro, Imtiaz, Carrefour, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs43,340.51 to Rs75,761.75.
- This position requires on-site presence at the designated work location.
