Backend Developer

We are looking for a Backend Developer with at least one year of professional experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services primarily using Node.js/Express and Python/FastAPI. This role requires building and integrating RESTful APIs to support both web and mobile applications. Additionally, the developer will perform web scraping and data extraction from external sources, ensuring that backend code is clean, maintainable, and efficient. Close collaboration with frontend developers and DevOps teams is essential to facilitate smooth application deployment. The role also involves assisting with basic deployment tasks and CI/CD processes, with GitHub serving as the primary tool for version control and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services using Node.js/Express and Python/FastAPI frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs for web and mobile platforms.
- Perform web scraping and extract data from various external sources.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient backend code adhering to best practices.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and DevOps teams to ensure seamless deployment of applications.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and team collaboration.
- Assist with basic deployment activities and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) workflows.

Required Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js frameworks.
- Solid experience in Python programming, particularly with FastAPI.
- Familiarity with web scraping tools such as BeautifulSoup, Puppeteer, or Selenium.
- Basic understanding of deployment platforms like Heroku, Vercel, Render, or VPS environments.
- Experience using Git and GitHub for source control and collaborative development.
- Good problem-solving abilities and debugging skills.
