BI Developer

We are looking for a talented Power BI Developer to join a reputable organization based in the SITE Area of Karachi. The ideal candidate will have between 1 to 2 years of experience in business intelligence and data analytics. This role focuses on creating interactive dashboards and reports that support various departments, enabling data-driven decision-making throughout the company. The position requires working on-site and offers a competitive salary along with additional benefits.

Key Responsibilities
Develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports customized to meet the needs of different business units. Gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective and actionable BI solutions. Design and implement robust data models, create DAX measures, and perform data transformations using Power Query. Integrate data from multiple sources such as SQL databases, ERP/SAP systems, Excel files, and APIs to ensure comprehensive reporting. Write and optimize SQL queries to enhance report performance and accuracy. Manage Power BI Service components including data refresh schedules, workspace administration, and user access controls. Automate manual reporting processes and develop centralized dashboards to streamline management and monitoring. Troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy, connectivity, refresh failures, and overall report performance. Collaborate closely with IT and business teams to understand reporting needs and deliver analytics solutions that drive business value.

Required Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field is essential. Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data analytics. Proficiency in writing and optimizing SQL queries is required. Experience with data integration from diverse sources such as ERP/SAP systems and APIs is important. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot BI-related issues effectively are necessary to succeed in this role.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
The position offers a competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 80,000 to PKR 140,000, depending on experience. Additional employee benefits are provided as per the client’s policy.
