Cashier

Bin Hashim Super Mart is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier with at least 2 years of experience in cash handling and customer service. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing transactions accurately and providing excellent service to customers. This role does not involve managing a team but requires the ability to work efficiently and maintain a high level of accuracy in all transactions. The Cashier operates the cash register, processes payments, and handles all cash-related activities ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are crucial to maintain a smooth checkout process and resolve customer inquiries promptly.
Responsibilities

Operate cash registers and handle cash, credit, or check transactions accurately.
Scan goods and collect payments from customers.
Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets.
Resolve customer complaints and answer questions related to products, pricing, or policies.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas.
Balance cash registers by counting cash received and reconciling with recorded amounts.
Follow all company policies related to cash handling and transaction security.
Assist with merchandise stocking and inventory control as needed.
Ensure a friendly and positive experience for all customers.
