Dispatch Officer

BM Collection is seeking a dedicated Dispatch Officer to oversee and coordinate the efficient dispatch of goods and services. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in dispatch, demonstrating strong attention to detail and excellent communication and management skills. This role involves managing a team of six persons and ensuring timely and organized delivery operations that meet company standards. The Dispatch Officer plays a critical part in the logistics chain by planning routes, coordinating with drivers and warehouses, and monitoring inventory levels using inventory management software. The successful candidate will excel in problem solving and logistics coordination, ensuring seamless communication between all parties involved in dispatch operations. This role requires a proactive approach to managing schedules, resolving issues that may arise during transit, and maintaining accurate records of all dispatch activities. Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the daily dispatch operations for BM Collection, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking of goods.
Coordinate logistics activities including routing, scheduling, and inventory management to optimize dispatch efficiency.
Lead and supervise a team of six dispatch personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Utilize inventory management software to monitor stock levels and manage dispatch documentation accurately.
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and external partners to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
Resolve any operational issues promptly, including delays, route changes, or equipment failures, to maintain service quality.
Maintain detailed records of shipments, delivery statuses, and inventory data for analysis and reporting.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to transportation, safety, and dispatch procedures.
Implement continuous improvements to dispatch processes to enhance productivity and customer satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate team performance, setting clear goals and fostering a collaborative work environment.
