We are looking to recruit a Qualified Accountant (CA / CIMA / ACCA) to report to the Finance and Accounts sector. The company is headquartered in the UK.
Responsibilities will include reviewing financial documents and procedures, and month-end working papers. The successful candidate will provide accurate quantitative information on the financial position and cash flows of the business while ensuring compliance with regulations.
Summary:
- Providing key support to the Group Controller in day-to-day financial reporting activities.
- Manage accounting transactions, reviewing variances.
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Intercompany accounting activities.
- Prepare monthly financial accounts to senior management.
- Budgeting and forecasting activities.
- creating monthly invoices.
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
- Monitor bank levels and make regular payment transfers.
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns (VAT/ GST/ TVA returns)
- Publish financial statements in time.
The successful candidate will be / will have –
- CIMA/ ACCA /ICAS/ACA qualified - essential
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or a relevant degree
A team player and able to perform under time pressure with minimum supervision, in a growing environment with enthusiasm and a passion for success. Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization and respond to needs with urgency.
Advanced MS Excel skills.
