Branch Manager - Liability Sales - Branch Banking

This role is focused on driving the growth and operational excellence of a bank branch by achieving deposit targets, maintaining a balanced portfolio of CASA and term deposits, and delivering exceptional customer service. The position requires leadership in managing branch staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies, and overseeing financial accuracy. The successful candidate will foster a motivated team environment, handle customer queries efficiently, and coordinate with audit teams to uphold operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Drive branch business growth by achieving deposit targets and maintaining a cost-effective mix of CASA and term deposits while upholding high service standards.
- Lead branch operations, including recruitment, training, and performance management of staff, ensuring strict adherence to State Bank of Pakistan regulations, internal policies, and operational controls.
- Supervise customer service delivery by resolving queries and complaints promptly, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures, audit requirements, and security protocols.
- Oversee financial accuracy related to accruals, income and expense liquidation, and approval of expenses, while coordinating effectively with internal and external audit teams.
- Foster a motivated and high-performing team by providing ongoing training and development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing overall branch performance and service quality.

Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within the banking industry, demonstrating strong operational and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- A Master’s degree is considered an advantage.
- Special certifications in related fields are preferred, enhancing expertise in banking operations and compliance.
