Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventory items in the packing store including stock levels and storage locations.
- Track and monitor stock quantities regularly to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
- Operate ERP software efficiently to manage inventory data, generate reports, and coordinate purchase and delivery schedules.
- Ensure adherence to proper packing and storage procedures to maintain product quality and safety standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed shipment documentation such as packing lists and delivery schedules to support flawless dispatch processes.
- Coordinate with multiple departments, including procurement, logistics, and sales, to facilitate smooth inventory flow and timely deliveries.
- Conduct periodic stock audits to verify physical inventory against records and address discrepancies promptly.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimize storage layouts, inventory retrieval, and space utilization.
- Report any operational issues or supply chain disruptions to the management for timely resolution.
- Continuously identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency in store operations and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations within the packing store environment.
- Support warehouse staff by providing guidance on operational tasks and maintaining a cooperative work atmosphere.
