We are looking to hire a Financial Auditor in their back office in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in preparing financial statements and conducting external audits in compliance with international standards.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct external audits for clients following International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting and auditing standards.
- Assess financial records and internal controls, identifying risks and areas for improvement.
- Verify financial transactions, statements, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and other applicable laws.
- Provide recommendations on financial reporting, internal controls, and risk management.
- Work independently to prepare audit reports, including findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with the management team to improve financial processes.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, changes in financial laws, and best practices in auditing.
Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: CA (Chartered Accountant), ACCA, CPA, or equivalent certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in external auditing or financial statement preparation.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and UAE financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with auditing firms or multinational organizations.
- Strong time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work remotely with teams in UAE.
