Although this position does not involve team management, the Carpenter must work collaboratively with other tradespeople and staff to achieve organizational objectives and maintain safety standards on site. The Carpenter performs finishing work such as sanding, staining, and polishing to ensure the final appearance meets the required quality standards. The role demands strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to adhering to safety protocols. The Carpenter participates in the maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment to guarantee functionality and longevity. This position requires at least two years of experience demonstrating proficiency in carpentry tasks and an ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities

  • Repair, assemble, and maintain wooden fixtures, including furniture, doors, and windows.
  • Perform accurate measurement and layout of materials based on technical drawings and project specifications.
  • Interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints to ensure proper construction and installation.
  • Carry out finishing work such as sanding, staining, and polishing to achieve desired aesthetics and durability.
  • Ensure timely completion of carpentry tasks while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • Collaborate with other craftsmen and healthcare facility staff to coordinate work and maintain site safety.
  • Maintain and organize carpentry tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
