Cool N2 Creamery and Cafe is seeking a diligent and customer-focused Cashier to manage financial transactions and provide excellent service at the point of sale. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience and demonstrates proficiency in cash handling, point of sale operations, and communication with customers. This role includes overseeing and coordinating a team of 10 persons to ensure smooth and efficient service during busy hours. The Cashier is crucial in maintaining accurate and secure handling of cash while delivering a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
Operate point of sale (POS) systems accurately and efficiently to process customer purchases and returns.
Handle cash transactions with accuracy, ensuring proper counting, giving change, and maintaining cash drawer integrity.
Provide friendly and professional customer service, greeting customers and assisting with inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
Supervise, train, and coordinate a team of 10 staff members to promote teamwork and maintain high service standards.
Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and ensure all supplies are stocked and ready for daily operations.
Reconcile cash drawer at the beginning and end of shifts, reporting discrepancies promptly and following company procedures.
Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues related to transactions in a calm and efficient manner.
Collaborate with management and team members to improve processes and enhance customer experience.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards to protect company assets and customers.
Support inventory control by tracking and reporting stock levels or discrepancies at the cashier station.
