Dolphin Technical Works is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with at least 3 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate handles a variety of accounting tasks primarily focused on accounts payable and receivable. This role demands precision in managing financial records and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software to support the companys financial operations. The Accountant will work independently without managing a team but must collaborate closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial data reporting and compliance with company policies. The Accountant plays a key role in maintaining the companys financial integrity by preparing and processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. Accuracy and timeliness in handling financial data are critical to the success of this position. Additionally, the candidate must be comfortable working within an established accounting system, performing data entry, and generating reports that aid management decision-making. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to maintain up-to-date and precise financial records in compliance with applicable regulations.
Responsibilities

Process and manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy.
Prepare financial reports and summaries using Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
Maintain and update financial records, ensuring data integrity and compliance with company policies.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring all financial data is properly recorded.
Assist with preparing invoices, processing payments, and following up on outstanding receivables.
Collaborate with other departments to obtain necessary financial information and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls.
Perform general bookkeeping duties and assist in audit preparation as required.
Continuously improve accounting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
