EFU Life Assurance Ltd. is seeking a skilled Manager for the Insure Tech division to lead critical software projects that drive business innovation and operational excellence. This role requires hands-on expertise in both backend and frontend technologies, including Laravel, Node.js, and UI/UX development, combined with strong project management and agile delivery skills. The Manager will act as a key liaison between technology teams and business units, resolving technical challenges and ensuring alignment with corporate goals. With at least five years of relevant experience, the successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving abilities while managing a focused team to deliver measurable business value.
The Manager will oversee the daily operational and strategic aspects of Insure Tech projects, ensuring that all software development activities adhere to best practices in agile methodologies such as Scrum. This position demands proactive coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners to guarantee timely and high-quality project outcomes. Through effective team management, debugging expertise, and seamless collaboration, the Manager will foster a productive environment that drives innovation and supports the advancement of EFU Life Assurance Ltd.'s technology landscape.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of software projects within the Insure Tech section, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
- Manage the complete project lifecycle utilizing Agile and Scrum methodologies to drive efficient and adaptive development processes.
- Provide technical oversight and hands-on guidance for backend development using Laravel and Node.js frameworks, ensuring scalable and robust solutions.
- Oversee frontend development activities with a focus on UI/UX principles to create user-friendly and visually compelling applications.
- Resolve technical and business challenges by leveraging strong problem-solving skills and maintaining clear communication across teams.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to facilitate smooth project workflows and maintain alignment with strategic initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a focused team of professionals, fostering an environment of continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability.
- Conduct thorough debugging and troubleshooting to identify and address software defects swiftly, maintaining system stability and performance.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and status reporting to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged throughout the development process.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies related to software development and project management.
- Promote best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to enhance software quality and operational efficiency.
