Company Enrolla is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join their team based in Islamabad or Rawalpindi. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of relevant accounting experience and possess strong knowledge of bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting. This role requires familiarity with accounting software to ensure smooth financial operations. As part of the finance team, the Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company's accounting functions. The Accountant handles various financial activities such as tax preparation, accounts payable and receivable management, and account reconciliation. The role demands a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to process transactions correctly and ensure compliance with financial regulations. This role does not involve managing a team but requires effective collaboration with other departments to support financial processes and reporting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Perform account reconciliations to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable to keep financial transactions up to date.
Assist in tax preparation and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.
Maintain organized and accurate bookkeeping records, supporting daily financial operations.
Use accounting software proficiently to enter financial data, generate reports, and streamline accounting workflows.
Review financial transactions for accuracy and completeness prior to recording.
Prepare bank reconciliations to verify accuracy between bank statements and company records.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities by gathering financial data and ensuring accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors as needed to facilitate financial reviews and audits.
Monitor and control company expenditures and budget adherence by tracking invoices and payments.
Identify areas for process improvement within accounting operations and recommend solutions.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements related to financial management.
