ORACLE APEX TECHNO-FUNCTIONAL Developer

Faisal Movers is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX Techno-Functional Developer with over five years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development and techno-functional roles. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in Oracle Application Express, Oracle Database Administration, and Oracle APEX Development. This role requires the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into robust, scalable technical solutions. The developer will work closely with business teams and technical specialists to design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level Oracle APEX applications, ensuring seamless integration with other systems and efficient data management. The role focuses heavily on developing and optimizing SQL queries, PL/SQL code, and database objects, as well as working with Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, and Dynamic Actions within Oracle APEX. The successful candidate is skilled in REST API and Web Services integration, testing, debugging, and performance tuning. While the position does not involve managing a team, excellent communication and problem-solving skills are crucial to collaborate effectively across departments and provide ongoing application support and enhancements.
Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance enterprise-level Oracle APEX applications that align with business requirements.
Analyze business processes and functional needs to convert them into effective technical solutions using Oracle APEX and related technologies.
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and database objects to ensure efficient application performance.
Create and maintain seamless integrations between Oracle APEX applications and external systems using REST APIs and Web Services.
Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, provide technical advice, and deliver solutions that meet business goals.
Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues promptly to minimize downtime and improve system reliability.
Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization to enhance application usability and responsiveness.
Provide ongoing application maintenance, support, and enhancements to keep the Oracle APEX environment up to date and aligned with evolving business needs.
Contribute to technical design discussions, documentation, and promote best practices to ensure quality and consistency in development processes.
Utilize Interactive Reports, Interactive Grids, Forms, Dynamic Actions, Ajax calls, and user interface/UX features in Oracle APEX to create intuitive and dynamic applications.
Manage requirements gathering and analysis activities, ensuring clear communication between business and technical teams throughout project lifecycles.
Maintain solid knowledge of database design principles to support scalable and efficient application development.
