Key Responsibilities
-
Operate and monitor biogas plant equipment including digesters, gas holders, pumps, mixers, compressors, and generators.

Control and monitor process parameters such as temperature, pressure, pH, gas flow, and feedstock input.

Ensure uninterrupted biogas production and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.

Conduct daily inspections and routine preventive maintenance of plant equipment.
-
Record daily production data, operating logs, and maintenance activities.
-
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company SOPs.
-
Handle and manage feedstock, slurry, and digestate disposal as per approved procedures.
-
Coordinate with maintenance, electrical, and mechanical teams during breakdowns.
-
Detect gas leaks or abnormal conditions and take immediate corrective action.
-
Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area.
-
Assist during plant start-up, shutdown, and emergency situations.
-
Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to HSE policies.
