We are seeking a dedicated healthcare professional to provide comprehensive, continuous, and patient-centered primary healthcare services to individuals and families across all age groups. The role involves delivering routine gynecological consultations, managing common women’s health issues, and offering antenatal and postnatal care for low-risk pregnancies. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in early identification of high-risk pregnancies and ensure timely referrals. This position also includes managing vaginal infections, STI screening, menstrual disorders, common breast problems, and menopause-related concerns. Additionally, the candidate will provide primary care services through both in-person and teleclinic platforms, addressing preventive care, acute conditions, and chronic disease management for patients and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine gynecological consultations and manage common women’s health issues including antenatal and postnatal care for low-risk pregnancies.
- Identify high-risk pregnancies early and facilitate timely referrals to specialists.
- Manage vaginal infections, conduct STI screenings, and evaluate and treat menstrual disorders.
- Address common breast problems and menopause or perimenopause-related health concerns.
- Deliver comprehensive primary care services, including teleclinics, for preventive care, acute illnesses, and chronic disease management.
- Stabilize common gynecological emergencies initially before referring patients to higher-level care.
- Conduct and supervise health screenings, physical exams, and risk assessments at outreach sites to identify and manage health issues.
- Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and policies aimed at improving healthcare services within the corporate sector.
- Analyze disease patterns and lead health education initiatives to promote wellness and healthy lifestyles among patients and employees.
- Collaborate with specialists, healthcare providers, and corporate partners to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Review health data and trends to identify areas for clinical improvement and recommend appropriate interventions.
- Educate employees on various health topics including disease prevention, nutrition, and stress management.
- Conduct regular clinical audits and site visits to ensure the clinical competency of physicians.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree with specialization or relevant experience in gynecology and primary healthcare.
- Proven experience in managing antenatal and postnatal care, gynecological consultations, and women’s health issues.
- Ability to conduct health screenings, risk assessments, and manage common emergencies effectively.
- Strong knowledge of preventive care, chronic disease management, and telemedicine practices.
