We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This position includes a three-month structured training program designed to build skills in reading construction drawings, performing quantity takeoffs, and preparing cost estimates for various flooring types such as carpet, tile, LVT/LVP, wood, and resilient flooring.
During the training period, a monthly stipend will be provided. Candidates who successfully complete the training and pass the final assessment will be offered a full-time position.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda.
- Assist in performing accurate quantity takeoffs using software such as Measure Square, PlanSwift, Callidus, or Measure by RFMS.
- Support in calculating material and labor costs for various flooring systems.
- Collaborate with senior estimators to review scope changes and assist in change order preparation.
- Help maintain project documentation and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in client communication and progress reporting as needed.
- Adhere to internal standards of accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
Requirements
- Diploma holder in Quantity Surveying, AUTOCAD Civil, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Basic knowledge of construction drawings and flooring systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to estimation or takeoff software is advantageous.
- Should be proficient in reading, understanding, and writing English. Spoken English will be a plus.
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- The candidate must be a resident of Rawalpindi or Islamabad.
- Must be able to commute to the office daily (this is not a remote position).
