Mohsyn is looking for a committed Field Support Officer (FSO) to act as a reliable, on-the-ground representative for families across Karachi. This full-time, field-based role focuses on delivering compassionate, hands-on assistance to elderly clients and their families, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism. The FSO will coordinate healthcare appointments, support daily service requests, and respond swiftly to urgent situations, collaborating closely with internal teams and external vendors. This position suits a proactive and resourceful individual who thrives in dynamic environments and understands the importance of being a dependable presence when families cannot be there themselves.

Key Responsibilities

Provide empathetic and dependable support to clients and their families through regular home visits and direct assistance with healthcare appointments, tests, and procedures. Build and maintain trusting relationships with elderly clients by demonstrating patience, respect, and genuine care. Efficiently manage field assignments from start to finish, coordinating with City Operations, healthcare professionals, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Handle multiple tasks by prioritizing based on urgency and client needs while navigating Karachi’s challenges effectively. Maintain accurate documentation, including proof of service, receipts, visit notes, and photographs, keeping all relevant teams updated on progress and any issues. Respond calmly and professionally to emergencies, coordinating with healthcare providers and adhering to established protocols. Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, families, medical staff, and vendors, ensuring confidentiality and discretion at all times. Take full ownership of assignments until resolution, demonstrating accountability and proactive problem-solving without the need for constant supervision. Operate within a 24/7 environment, including rotational shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in customer service, field operations, healthcare support, hospitality, logistics, community services, or other people-facing roles. Exceptional empathy and emotional intelligence are essential, especially when working with elderly clients and their families. Strong interpersonal skills with clear and respectful communication in spoken Urdu are required. The role demands high dependability, responsiveness, and consistent follow-through on commitments. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a resourceful, can-do attitude are necessary. Candidates must remain calm and think clearly during emergencies or emotionally challenging situations. Physical fitness and comfort with extensive daily fieldwork and travel throughout Karachi are important. Proficiency in using smartphones and digital tools for communication, navigation, and documentation is expected. Willingness to work rotational shifts, including outside regular hours, weekends, and public holidays, is mandatory. High levels of integrity, professionalism, accountability, and respect for client confidentiality are critical. An intermediate or bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution is preferred, though personal qualities and reliability take precedence.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

Previous experience in healthcare, hospitals, home healthcare, emergency response, concierge services, or field operations is advantageous. Familiarity with Karachi’s healthcare facilities, hospitals, and service providers will be beneficial. Experience coordinating with doctors, laboratories, pharmacies, and ambulance services is preferred. Holding a valid motorcycle or car driving license and having personal transportation is strongly preferred. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously with ownership and trust, making a meaningful impact on families who rely on Mohsyn’s support. Candidates will join a collaborative, low-ego team that values curiosity, ownership, and high impact within a supportive work environment.

This position provides a unique chance to be the vital link for families unable to be physically present, offering reassurance and practical help during both routine and critical moments. If you are compassionate, dependable, and ready to make a real difference on the ground, Mohsyn encourages you to bring your humanity and resourcefulness to this rewarding role.
