Freight Forwarding Executive

A UK-based logistics company with back-office operations located on Raiwind Road, Lahore, is looking for a skilled and motivated Freight Forwarding Executive. This role involves overseeing the entire logistics process, including pricing, shipment coordination, transportation arrangements, and customs clearance. The position demands working in a fast-paced environment that supports growth, requiring strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage international shipments via road, sea, and air freight. Liaise with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. Handle customs clearance procedures while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and documentation requirements. Provide excellent customer service by professionally addressing and resolving inquiries. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for all shipments.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should have 1 to 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics, with a solid understanding of international shipping procedures and regulations. Proven experience in customs clearing, with at least 2 years in this area, is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively coordinate with multiple stakeholders. The ability to prioritize tasks and perform well under pressure in a dynamic work environment is required. Proficiency in MS Office applications and logistics software is also expected.
